Beijing water town to roll out immersive autumn experience
Beijing Water town will launch a series of "autumn fun programs" to help visitors savor the colorful autumn leaves in the upcoming season.
The town in northeastern Beijing's Miyun district will offer hot springs, an autumn-themed fair and dining experiences as well as events featuring traditional Chinese culture from Sept 1 to Oct 31.
The goal is to offer rich and fun entertainment for travelers to enjoy autumn without going out of the capital city.
Folk customs related to the autumn season will be prepared, such as making mooncakes and floating paper lanterns.
Polychromatic blossoms cover the mountains around the water town in autumn and have made it a hot spot for visitors to appreciate the natural charm and create photography works over the years.
